Clothing provides a bonus from the environment when exposed to wind and freezing temperatures. Equipping clothing on your character consists two layers (inner and outer) for the torso, legs, and feet, and one layer for the head, and hands. The windproof and warmth bonus scales based on the quality of your gear, so it's important to maintain it often.
