Crafting is a skill which allows the player to create weapons, clothing, and other survival gear using items acquired from the wilderness. All crafting is done at Workbenches, which can be found in various buildings, such as the Trapper's Homestead and Carter Hydro Dam in Mystery Lake, the Fishing Camp in Coastal Highway, and the Pleasant Valley Farmstead in Pleasant Valley.

For all recipes that take more than 0.5 hours, the player can choose to work on creating the item in 0.5 hour increments.
