Herbal Tea is one of the Drinks available in The Long Dark. When consumed, it gives calories and reduces thirst, and can be consumed hot to raise warmth and grant a boost to slow the loss of warmth for a time.

Effects[]
When brewed, herbal tea is a hot beverage, and will provide all of the benefits of a hot beverage: Increasing the Cold meter, and granting the Warming up Affliction, making the player lose less from the cold meter. Tea that is not consumed within ten minutes of brewing, or tea that is found already brewed, will be cold. It will not grant the effects of a hot beverage, but can be warmed up at any fire to make it hot.
Tea will always improve the player's Thirst bar. It also provides 100 calories, and so will slightly increase the Hunger meter.
Herbal Tea will also grant the player the Improved rest affliction. This will allow a player to recover more Condition during sleep.
