Pensive Pond is a small recreational pond in the hills of Pleasant Valley. Picnickers can enjoy canoeing and when sunny, sit under the gazebo. A fishing hut is available with a fishing hole and stove. Be careful of the surrounding cliffs in low-visibility conditions.
Location
Pensive pond can be found easily from Pleasant Valley Farmstead. By standing at the round silo on the farmstead, turn to face Heartbreak Bridge. You will see cliffs in the background, on top of which Pensive Pond can be found. Following Lower Falls, and climbing up carefully, some shelter, fishing or a picnic can be had.
